Hello! My name is Kevin Bentch, please know that it is a pleasure to welcome you, to offer the opportunity
to personally discover truths that can lead to a life of victory in Jesus! This body of
believers is here to serve - to help find ways to fulfill your needs and mend your broken
heart and any part of your life that is not in harmony with the Father's personal plan
for you. "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper
you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11.
Have you ever made a commitment to serve the Lord? If so, we hope you will find
this place to be good soil - where you can grow in the love and nurture of
the Lord Jesus. Have you fallen away? We will pray
with you and for you - that you may receive a refreshing from the Lord - and once
again be in a place of nearness to the loving creator of all things. He said that if we draw near
to Him, He will draw near to us - take that step! Maybe you have never made a commitment
to Him. Brothers and sisters are standing by, eager to lead you through a study
of God's word, to gain understanding, find repentance, grasp the gift of faith,
confess Jesus before others and put on Christ in the watery grave of Baptism. You can read
Acts 2:37 through 39 and Romans 6:1 through 11 - as a start. What are your needs? We hope
you will feel comfortable letting us know - any time - day or night.
Have you ever noticed how hard it is to be a Christian - in a vacuum? Finding
God's will for you - your loved ones - for your life and future - can be one of the
most freeing things that has ever happened to you. This is best done in the presence of
those of like precious faith. I have yet to find anyone who having once put on Christ to
have regretted it. We want you to feel safe coming here. Sometimes it is hard to go to a
new place - "Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls
around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour." and will hinder you,
if you let him. (I Peter 5:8)
When was the last time you felt happy, content, comfortable, safe and at peace?
In these days of peril, uncertainty, loss, illness, and sudden changes - finding
how to make the Lord Jesus real in your heart can heal the wounds of your soul.
Please don't think this is a group of Christians untouched by the miseries of life,
instead know that we are all broken, wounded and needy before our Father God. When
you find Jesus, you find rest for your soul - and blessings - among folks who
are all working to accomplish the same thing.
When was the last time you read your favorite passage - and prayed? Is your
favorite one "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." perhaps?
or maybe "This is one I esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirit, and trembles at my
word." or maybe some other verse. Find your Bible - read - pray - and perhaps find
it in your heart to come visit. You will hear words of truth, excitement in serving the
Lord, encouragement to live the Christian life and forsake any other type of life and the message
of the good news of hope - and salvation for your eternal soul.
My personal prayer is that the Holy Spirit will convict your heart of your deep need for
the power of Jesus in your life - and seek Him above all else! May God's richest
blessings fall upon you and yours!
