The Worland church of Christ is an independent non-denominational group of believers in Jesus Christ. We recognize Jesus as the only head of the church, which is called by His Name. We also believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God. This is why we look to Jesus' instructions for His church in the New Testament of the Bible as our only pattern. Simply put, we are a family of Christians attempting to be faithful to Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.

Therefore, we encourage continual Bible study with the intent of imitating its precepts and directives for His church.

We believe that souls can only be saved by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe God when He tells us that the cleansing for our sins comes only through the cross of His son Jesus Christ and that His blood washes our sins away when we call on His name in the waters of baptism. It is at that time the name "Christian" and the phrase "born from above (again)" can truly be applied to the one confessing faith in Christ and being baptized. We understand that God has made us His children because of His great love for us, not because of some honor we deserve or have earned. Because of this, being pleasing to Him in everything is our only ambition, 2 Corinthians 5:9.
